LONDON, July 27 (Reuters) - Olympic quadruple gold medallists Chris Hoy and Michael Johnson tried out London’s 2012 Games facilities on Tuesday, two years to the day before the Games begin.
Cyclist Hoy took to the track in the Velodrome, watched by construction workers who enthusiastically downed tools to witness the Scotsman do a couple of laps.

BERLIN, March 26 (Reuters) - The fate of a doping-tainted U.S. Olympic relay gold medal is expected to be sealed next month at an International Olympic Committee meeting in Dubai, the IOC said on Friday.
The women’s 4x400 metres relay team could be stripped of their Athens 2004 Olympics gold medal after relay alternate Crystal Cox was handed a four-year ban earlier this year for using banned substances between 2001 and 2004.

KINGSTON (Reuters) - Triple world and Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt opened his season with a meet record 45.86 seconds for 400 meters at the Camperdown Classic on Saturday.
Sports"I guess I am getting there," Bolt told reporters. "I never felt as good as I wanted to, but it was a good race.
"My coach spoke to me about running the first 200 meters too hard, so I tried to pace myself and bring it home nice and smooth," said the 100 and 200 meters world record holder, who runs the 400 early in the season as part of his training.
